Product Manager

This position is remote and open to candidates based in the United States

Playback Rewards is seeking a revenue-focused Product Manager to manage live operations of our new mobile and desktop product. You’ll join our startup team of games industry veterans to help build a powerful and scalable rewards platform for mobile games.

In this exciting and central position, you will manage day-to-day metrics for the platform. Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you’ll combine a growth hacker mindset with experience in making fast-moving product and promotional optimizations to boost traffic and revenue. This role is best suited to applicants who have experience with driving daily and weekly product enhancements that deliver immediate results, and who are comfortable in a position highly accountable for revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage fast-moving product optimizations and promotions
• Design new features, user flows, promotions, and user experiences
• Measure daily KPIs and deliver actionable insights to our leadership team for improvement and growth
• Serve as primary voice of the customer internally using data to drive high-velocity product and promotional enhancements
• Work with client game publishers to initiate new promotions and follow through with reporting

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role coming out of industries such as mobile advertising, video game live operations, or SaaS live operations hands-on management
• Deep knowledge of developing new product features and/or promotions that delight mobile game players
• Demonstrable skills in developing, implementing, and reporting on fast-moving financial and traffic KPIs
• Solid understanding of customer loyalty and rewards programs
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
• Hands-on expertise using Excel (analytical functions) and other analytics/visualization tools (eg, Tableau, Looker Studio) to support data-driven decision making
• Ability to work with external clients and negotiate with internal execution teams
• High curiosity, ownership mindset, high achievement mentality, strong collaborator

Preferred

• MBA or Bachelors degree in a discipline related to the above requirements
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies in a lean environment
• Python/SQL querying skills

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000-90,000/year; 4 weeks of flexible paid time off and company holidays; comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance (all 50% company paid); and a 401k (with 4% company match).
