Senior Product Manager - Adtech

Full-Time in Madison, WI %LABEL_POSITION_TYPE_REMOTE_ANY% - Mid Level - $120k - $160k

This is a remote position available to residents of the United States only

Playback Rewards is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy for the back-end of our new adtech platform serving the mobile games community. You’ll join our startup team of games industry veterans to help build a powerful and scalable rewards platform for mobile games.

In this key position, you’ll utilize your adtech experience to manage further design and growth of our platform. Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you’ll combine a mindset for building and growing products with experience in leading the spec development for data-rich adtech products. This role is best suited to applicants who have experience with driving systems that identify, and serve ads to, programmatic audiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead system-wide initiatives that optimize and scale our ad platform and rewards network
  • Identify opportunities to improve core company and product metrics and be responsible for achieving those results
  • Assess, propose, and drive new product features and other ways of optimizing our platform and offers for target users
  • Oversee the buildout of scalable advertising systems with an eye to understanding and solving unique business problems
  • Experimentation: design and run experiments, create A/B ad testing infrastructure and process
  • Work closely with the development team, with an excellent understanding of how to negotiate technical trade-offs and priorities
  • Deliver a data-driven roadmap for system enhancements
  • Investigate new developments for making a positive impact on our operations, such as AI implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or better) in a relevant discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in a product management role, all or part within the adtech industry
  • Experience in adtech product management for designing back-end system architecture, ad mediation, and ad selection and delivery
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of using data to drive product and feature planning
  • Hands-on expertise using Excel (analytical functions) and other analytics/visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker Studio) to support data-driven decision making
  • High curiosity, ownership mindset, high achievement mentality, strong collaborator
  • Experience in a lean startup environment

Preferred

  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies in a lean environment
  • Experience in product management for mobile game advertising networks and systems
  • Understanding of how customer rewards/loyalty products work from technical and business standpoints

We offer a salary range of $120k-$160k; 4 weeks of flexible paid time off and company holidays; comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance (all 50% company paid); and a 401k (with 4% company match).
